Q.
How many years has the Boulder Wedding Showcase
been active?
A. This
will be Boulder Wedding Showcase's 16th year. .
Q.
What makes the Boulder Wedding Showcase unique?
A. Boulder
Wedding Showcase consists of local vendors
who cater to clients mostly in the Boulder
area. We also place limits on the number of
vendors in each category, so you don't experience
a show that is dominated just by caterers or only photographers. This gives a wide variety
of vendors the opportunity to participate
in the show and allows brides and their families
to be able to have a one-stop-shopping experience
in order to prepare for their upcoming wedding.
Q.
One show - two buildings, how does that work?
A. Rembrandt
Yard and Boulder Theater are less than a half
of a block from each other, so dividing the
show between the two spaces just makes sense.
The vendors have more room to display and
the attendees have more space to move around
and talk to vendors. Attendees can purchase
tickets at either venue and there are door
personnel who make sure attendees know to
visit both buildings in order to see everything
there is to see in the show. With the additional
space available, we can offer fun, interactive
extras for the attendees. This year's Boulder
Wedding Showcase will feature a Table Design
Competition on the top floor at Rembrandt
Yard where the latest trends in tablescapes
will be on display. On stage at the Boulder
Theater musicians will play live music.
Q.
Can I rent vendor booth space in both Rembrandt
Yard and Boulder Theater?
A. Since
it is only one show that encompasses two buildings,
vendors may only purchase booth space in one
of the buildings and may not display in both
buildings.
Q.
How do I choose between locations?
A. Either
building is going to have the same attendees,
so the choice is yours as long as you register
early. The longer you wait to register the
fewer booth spaces will be available, so we
do encourage early registration! Rembrandt Yard
has more window space than wall space, so there
is a lot of natural light at Rembrandt Yard.
If you feel a lot of natural light will be better
for your display then Rembrandt Yard is the
place for you. Boulder Theater is a classic
theater style building, so digital or lit displays
often times show better when not in direct sunlight.
Rembrandt Yard, being an art gallery, has artwork
on the walls. If you feel this might not work
well with your display then Boulder Theater
might be a better choice for you.
Q.
Where can I find a list of Vendor Terms &
Conditions?
A. The terms
and conditions that you agree to when you sign
up to be a vendor at the Boulder Wedding Showcase
are on the registration page. You may also find
a copy of them here.
Q.
May vendors arrive early?
A. Vendors
may arrive to set up at 9:00 a.m. Please do not
arrive earlier, as door will be locked until
that time.
Q.
Is there a place for vendors to load and un-load?
A. There
is a loading zone in front of each building
where vendors may load
and/or unload. Since this loading zone is shared
by all vendors it is very important that you
do your very best to load/unload quickly. No
vendors are allowed to park in the loading zones,
and as soon as you are finished with load-in you must move your vehicle so that the space
becomes available for another vendor. Vehicles
left in the loading zone that are not in the loading/unloading process will be towed,
so again, do not park your vehicle in front
of the building.
Q.
Who is responsible for cleaning up after the
showcase?
A. Vendors
in the showcase are required to remove all equipment,
display items, and trash from their booth space
area, and/or the kitchen area if it is used
by the vendor. Both the Boulder Theater and
Rembrandt Yard participate in the City of Boulder's
Recycling Program, and recyclables must be sorted
from regular landfill trash. Vendors are welcome
to use the trash/recycle bins at each facility
as long as they sort their trash before putting
it into the appropriate bin. If you do not wish
to sort recyclables from non-recyclables, you
must take your trash with you when you leave.
